The GreenDiamond consortium will be represented at the 2016 Spring Meeting of the European Materials Research Society in Lille, France.

 

Ken Haenen, GreenDiamond Work Package Leader (IMEC) is the chairman of the Elsevier diamond conference in Montpellier in September. Members of the GreenDiamond consortium will be attending and presenting work from the consortium.

GreenDiamond Work Package Leaders Christoph Nebel (IAF), Philippe Bergonzo (UCL/CEA) and Richard Jackman (UCL) are organising the Diamond for Electronic Devices Symposium. It will include a GreenDiamond-specific session with talks from across the consortium detailing some of the work performed to-date. The E-MRS 2016 Fall Meeting will be held in Warsaw, Poland.

The second GreenDiamond General Assembly took place in Cadiz and Seville, Spain. Reaching the end of the first year, work package leaders and members of the consortium presented achievements and progress towards deliverables and targets.

The meeting took place in both Cadiz and Seville, a great opportunity to visit both cities, University of Cadiz and the facilities of our industrial partner, Win Inertia.

Thank you to Daniel Araujo, Constantino Garcia and their teams for hosting us! Everyone left Spain refuelled for another year with GreenDiamond (even though there were some mishaps with the return flights).
